This episode came together as a result of a little reorganization project in my home. I’ve moved my Alter and am sorting through it and re-building a new beautiful alter space.
In this process I was looking at what I feel is essential to have, what I was using that I’m just not using as much as I used to, and really re-freshen things. And I thought of you dear earbud coven and how this could make an interesting episode for you
What are essential tools and spell crafting items?
What do I always put in my witch’s kit to take with me to
- psychic fairs
- clients homes
- teaching circles
- and public rituals.

From my many years of experience as a Witch for Hire I have a put together a list for you of essentials. You can always add a few more things, this list should give you the tools you would need for almost any occasion.
- First off I bring Tarot cards.
- I like to have a divination tool with me. It’ surprising how often they get used at coven meetings
- Candles
- I bring a few tea lights with me
- and matches or a lighter
- Chime or tool that can clear using sound.
- I use a small singing bowl given to my by my daughter
- Personal crystals
- I have 2 quartz crystals that I have been working with and using for a number of years. They sit on community alters get charged in rituals. They are like little psychic batteries for me.
- Crystals for your clients
- I have a rose quratz that I let clients hold onto durring healings to help them release and ground.
- Hematite or smokey quartz are good choices too
- Herb blend for smoke clearing rituals
- Salt for purification
- Aura spray
- great to clear yourself of a friend.
- I like to spraying in a room where I am going to be teaching a class.
- Kleenex
- I keep one of those little packs in my kit and will bring a box to fairs
