In today’s episode… I share how I kept myself focused and grounded through the most difficult time of my life.
Hi, if your new here let me introduce myself. I’m Jodi Anne a self identified Witch.
My work focuses on tuning into divine feminine energies. Honouring the rhythms of our bodies and aligning ourselves with the ebb and flow of nature.
I share about the healing work I am doing in my life with the hope that it will help you on your path with.
Our experiences are unique and our healing is nuanced.
I believe we can share wisdom and support each-other
and that is what this podcast and really all my offerings are about
Lifting Each Other Up
I wanted to share some light magic for dark times in today’s episode.
Many of you know that I spend a few years in a personal phoenix fire.
In those days my energy was so low I couldn’t always “feel” my guides the way I was used to. I did know they were there, carrying me through. I received signs on a regular basis.
How I was going to practice witchcraft had to shift and adjust with my as I walked through this fire and rebuild my life anew.
I built small practices that I could do even on days when I had no energy; when all I could do was the barest minimum, it started with saying thank you to my spirit guides and patron Goddesses that I knew were lighting my way.
Weekly Gratitude Rituals
This small simple ceremony became a lifeline for me. It keep me centered and helped me feel connected to my spirit posse.
I would go into my yard on Sunday evenings after I had tucked my kids in and preform a little burning ceremony.
I have been taught that when we burn incense, sage, or another sacred herb, the smoke carries our wishes and hopes across the vail. I would burn and send my gratitude to my ancestors, my protector guides, my Patron Goddesses, all my helpers. Taking that moment to breath in and acknowledge the assistance.
This practice carried me through the darkest months of my life.
Slowly I started adding witchy elements to the self-care routines I was building with my therapist.
I kept them small so that I could do them, setting myself up for success rather than big plans that would fail and start a shame storm.
My current practices of ritual showers and baths where I call in the healing element of Water are the progression of this initial work. (yep, this is how all my ritual self-care products came into existence.)
I’ve got some practices you can use, little ones that you can easily add into your day, outlined for you in the episode.
They're yours to adapt and mold as you see fit....
So that you can have tool carry you through on your darkest days.
Healing work can only be done by an individual, no one can do it for us. No matter how much they love us.
