Today’s episode is an interview with one of my wonderful witchy friends, Nancy Brady. I came to know this bright light of a lady through a collective of mediums and healers that we both work with called “Spirit Essence.” It is run by the lovely Tara Diana. Spirit Essence hosts all kinds of fantastic psychic events, development classes and psychic fairs. I’m going to put the links here so you can check out our community.
When I first met Nancy in real-time (because we had been is some zoom boxes together a few times) it felt like I had known her for years. She is a very gifted reader she delivers her messages with such compassion. We have done quite a few events together now, and I just love working with her. Nancy works as a reader, medium, animal communicator and spiritual coach. She identifies as an emotional and physical medium, she describes her work as absorbing the energy of spirit through her “5 clairs.” So she will mentally hear (clairaudience) see (clairvoyance) smell (clairalience) know (claircognizance) and/or feel (clairsentience) the messages she receives from spirit.

Our conversation may be full of giggles but it is also bursting with wisdom. We give you the perspective of two light workers on similar paths, living their life authentically.
Some of the topics we get into today are:
- Living a Spiritual Life – how we both balance our spiritual paths and our muggle work. Both of us pursue our passions alongside having a more typical or “muggle” career path.
- Importance of Community – our experiences working as a solo practitioner vs working with a group of like-minded people.
- Having Spiritual Boundaries – the need for boundaries, what they mean to us as empaths, how to stop taking on everyone’s issues and emotions
- The joy we get in teaching others – Nancy shares her favourite classes to teach, and we get into how much we learn as facilitators
- Animal communication – we talk about how Nancy discovered the gift of hearing animals, this was my first time hearing the story. I knew she offered her talents to animal rescues it was so lovely to hear this story.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as we did making it, the episode runs a bit long but we were just having such a fun time together. There is a spot at about 22min where I left in the sound of the atmospheric river that was monsooning outside while we sat all warm and cozy at Nancy’s hearth.
